It's Simple - It's Just Not Easy
Long before the book The Great Game of Business was published, the media caught wind of the unusual success of SRC. After SRC was profiled in the 1980’s in INC Magazine, people flocked to Springfield, MO to see The Great Game of Business in action. BusinessWeek even labeled SRC a ‘management mecca.’
Eventually the requests became overwhelming.
In 1992 SRC formed organized tours and the educational wing of SRC, The Great Game of Business Inc. Business leaders from around the world came to see first-hand what it was like to run a business ‘Open-Book.’ Since then, over 4,000 companies have made the trip to SRC to learn the fundamentals of The Great Game of Business.
Six times each year we invite companies interested in OBM to visit SRC and learn the essential concepts of The Great Game of Business and Open-Book Management because although the concept of teaching people business might be simple…it’s not easy.
An Invitation to Skeptics from The Great Game of Business
“I’d like to invite all you skeptics to attend one of our seminars and sit in on a staff meeting. You can watch as we go down the income statement, line by line. You’ll hear person after person reporting numbers that are off the projection by $100 or less. Monthly sales vary less than 5 percent, even in a volatile year. Frankly, it’s unreal how close people come to the projections.”
