In 1988, Bill founded BC Group International, a regional distributor of biomedical testing equipment. In 1994 he discovered The Great Game of Business and implemented open-book management. BC Group grew profitably for a decade, improving its gross margin, cash flow, quality, employee turnover, and customer satisfaction. The company was named to the St. Louis Technology Fast 50, a listing of the 50 fastest-growing tech firms in St. Louis, for the years 2000, 2001, and 2003. In 2005, the year he sold BC Group, he and his company received the Hall of Fame Award from the Great Game of Business.

Today Bill is a coach with The Great Game of Business, helping companies implement Open-Book Management & achieve financial success.

Some of the services we provide include:

  • QuickStart Implementation: Get GGOB’s Open Book Management system up & running in about 60 days with full “boots on the ground” coaching support
  • Incentive Plan Review & Design: Don’t have a bonus plan? Or, your existing plan doesn’t work and has become an entitlement? We can help!
  • Strategic Planning: We call our approach “High Involvement Planning” for good reason … we tap into the collective wisdom of your team & create buy-in. It’s modeled after the same strategic planning system used for years by Jack Stack and SRC to power their success.
  • GGOB Assessment: Whether you’re been using OBM for years or haven’t yet started, our assessment gives you a baseline for future improvements.
  • Financial Literacy Education: A wide array of seminars & workshops, tailored for people at all levels. Watch our website for public programs, but we can also bring these excellent classes into your organization and if you prefer can run them using your own financials to make the learning even more relevant.
  • Great Game Forums: Mastermind groups with an open-book, Great Game focus.
  • Executive Coaching & Support: One time or ongoing – tailored for you and your organization.
